Alvarez Lawn Service has been running a fixed weekly route across DFW Southwest since 2012. Today we’re still small enough that someone from the crew answers the phone instead of an answering service.

Our story

Alvarez Lawn Service started with a single mower, a pickup truck, and a route that fit on one hand-written page. 14+ years later, the truck is newer and the crew has grown to a quiet two-to-three person team — but the philosophy is the same. Show up the same morning every week. Do the boring foundational work right. Leave the gate latched.
What customers tell us, over and over, is that they came to us tired of juggling a mowing guy, a fence guy, and a tree guy who never showed up the same week. We do all three. Same truck, same phone number, same bill at the end of the month.
We don’t do high-pressure sales, we don’t upsell, and we don’t use chemicals near edible beds without asking first. The lawn either looks good or it doesn’t — that’s the only thing that matters. Most of our customers came from a neighbor pointing across the fence. We’d like to keep it that way.
